The National Football League should formally indicate today that Michael Vick will be accepted as an undergraduate in this year's draft.
Vick's decision to leave Virginia Tech for the N-F-L made headlines last week.
But some of our viewers were not happy with how we handled the news.

((A celebrated football player leaving school early to become a top draft pick is one of those events just about everyone talks about.
But many of our viewers kicked us around for putting it in news.
A viewer from Moneta [Alice Swain] wrote: "During regular programming a special report came on, we thought it might be a plane crash, earthquake or a report about the presidential race. But no, it had to do with Va. Tech's Michael Vick going pro. I think this has gotten way out of hand. A special report for this. Thank God the season is over."
From Buena Vista [David McCormick] came these comments: "Michael Vick-Michael Vick!!! Geez o flip! Get over it! This is about as interesting a subject to me as a cup of warm spit!"
And from Buchanan [Ralph Shanks]: "Everyone seems to be bragging on Michael Vick. Does [he] win all the games by himself and all of the other players just go along for the ride?...If it wasn't for Michael Vick would VT still have a ball team? I think they would."
No matter whether you're a Hokie or a Hoo, we'd like to hear from you.

This week, the Virginia Senate will likely vote on a law that would make it illegal for passengers to have an open container of alcohol inside a vehicle. Drinking alcohol while driving is already a misdemeanor. But legislation proposed by Senator Thomas Norment would make possession of an open container of booze by passengers in a car or truck a traffic offense. Opponents say adults should be able to enjoy a drink, as long as they have a designated driver.
