As in years past, the balls were star-studded events. This year, including Kelsey Grammer, Marie Osmond, and Dixie Carter. The festivities followed the most solemn of all moments....when a teary George W. Bush was sworn in as the nations 43rd President -- following in his fathers footsteps. Through a steady flow of rain, the President gave his Inaugural address and talked about building a nation of justice and opportunity ... and of sticking to his proposed policies.
President Bush: We will reduce taxes to recover the momentum of our economy and reward the effort and enterprise of working Americans. (applause)
