Just one day before earnings are due out- N-S says it's cutting between one and two thousand workers nationwide.

Here's a detailed look at the cutbacks: 1,000-2,000 jobs will go in the next 12 months, that's nearly six percent of its workforce.

Police in Colorado hope they're closing in on two prison escapees- from Texas.
They've tracked down a van they believe the two may have used.

Authorities have found a van believed to have been used by the men located outside a Cororado hotel. They believe it was abandoned in the early hours of the morning.

"we believe it was abandoned about 6am."
Four other fugitives have been captured peacefully, even though they had a stockpile of weapons. A fifth committed suicide yesterday in Colorado's Rocky Mountain foothills...when police surrounded the trailer home where the gang had been hiding. SPECIAL AGENT, MARK MERSHON/ FBI They had 35 weapons..cocked and loaded for action. The two men still evading police, are Patrick Murphy Jr .. serving 50 years for aggravated assault, and Donald Newbury, .. serving 99 years for armed robbery . Police continue to warn the men are armed and dangerous. Narr: Before capture the fugitives had tried to blend in with the locals. This bartender says he was stunned when he saw the pictures of the re-captured men. Some of them had been drinking in his bar.

Police say an argument between a Roanoke man and his employee ended in murder last night. Authorities say 50-year old Mark David Stroud was shot four times inside his home. Stroud owned a local tree trimming business.

Police have charged his employee, 43-year old Neil Anthony Spencer with murder- Police say the pair were arguing at the time of the shooting.

His mother called police Sunday afternoon.
Investigators with the Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Department won't say if charges are pending but are still calling this death suspicious.

Just after midnight last night, Williamsburg area state Senator Tommy Norment was pulled by a state trooper, who says his car was weaving on Interstate 64 near Richmond.
The trooper charged Norment with driving under the influence, after checking with the Henrico County prosecutor to see if he qualified for legislative immunity during the General Assembly session.

Robots are coming soon to a hostpital near you. Carilion may soon become one of the first medical centers in the nation to use robots on heart patients. The robotic surgery system is known as Da vinci.
The Food and Drug Administration chose Carilion to use Da Vinci in clincial trials.
