The internet toy seller will lay off all its workers and close its Pittsylvania County facility by this Spring.

The news came as no surprise to those workers.
An e-toys spokesperson told me tonight the company notified its employees last month to expect these layoffs.

At that time, the facility employed several hundred people.

Authorities don't know what caused an Amtrak Train to crash into a freight train in Syracuse, New York today-

The train had just left the station headed East when it hit the back of a C-S-X freight train.
Investigators say the Amtrak train was traveling five to ten miles per hour.
None of its cars tipped over, but some of the cars' wheels left the tracks.
The Amtrak train had been headed from Niagara Falls to New York City- with 102 people aboard.

Around 7:45 she made some purchases at Valley View Mall, according to witnesses and store records.
Police say they have reliable information that Foster's car was seen around 9:30 getting off the highway at the Tanglewood Exit, headed for the Mall.
The White Ford Mustang was being driven by a man, who appeared to be alone in the car.
Authorities want to know where the car was the rest of the time.

Investigators say she began yelling, and searching for a loaded pistol on the morning that D-J Sensabaugh was arrested. In the confusion, he was able to escape in a deputy's patrol car.

The search that followed eventually lead officers to a Rockbridge County farm where Sensabaugh was spotted. He exchanged gunfire with deputies before shooting himself.

An upset last night in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference as Roanoke College broke a trend beating Hampden-Sydney 71-67.
Before last night's game, the Tigers had won 10 of the last 12 meetings.

Tony Shaver's squad came into the game ranked number one in the south region and sitting in the top spot of the conference.
The Maroons used long range shooting to stay in the game early. Robby Pridgen throws down a long bomb for three.
Hampden-Sydney would counter that with some artful shooting from outside. Jay Patrick hits the three for the Tigers.
Defense accounts for Roanoke's next points as Jaimar Mansel comes up with the steal. Jason Strickland gets it to Brad Dunleavy. Dunleavy finishes with the layup.
The Maroons eat some time off the clock. Freshman Jason Graffam drains the three pointer just as the shot clock buzzer sounds.
But the Tigers took a nine point lead into locker room. Kevin Swann goes in for the layup and Sydney has the 36-27 lead at the half.

Brandon Randall led the Tigers with 10 points, but the Maroons outscored Hampden Sydney 34-17 in the final 12 minutes and go on to win it 71-67.

The Lady Cavaliers ended Maryland's five game win streak last night.
Virginia picked up the 69-56 win on the road. A great ACC win for the Cavs. They'd lost four of their last five conference outings.
