The Roanoke County Board of Supervisors is denouncing a study about a proposed natural gas pipeline.
The board hired a local engineering company to find out how much co-location would cost.
But the finished product wasn't exactly what the county expected.

Ruggieri was bitten on the hands and forehead, and required several stitches to close his wounds.
A firearms instructor, who was there conducting a class for police recruits, shot and killed the dog immediately after the attack.
In three years, two citizens and another police officer have been bitten by Lynchburg police dogs.. it's something the department takes seriously.

In an unusual accident, 61-year-old Reed Preston Cotton was pinned between his garbage truck and a telephone pole. Police supsect that while Cotton was picking up trash at a home on Cedarhurst Avenue, his vehicle started to move. When the victim tried to reach the brake, the truck hit a pole. A resident heard the noise and came outside to find Cotton trapped.

But today a Christiansburg woman pleaded guilty to the first degree murder of her husband.
