Good Afternoon, I'm Kimberly McBroom.
Dale Earnhardt was known as the "Intimidator", but yesterday he succumbed to injuries he received in a crash at yesterday's Daytona 500.
Doctors are awaiting an autopsy, but believe Earnhardt died from a massive trauma at the base of his skull.
The 49- year- old was considered the greatest- or at least ONE of the greatest-- drivers of all time.
Today at his headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina, friends and fans are remembering Earnhardt.
They're lighting candles and placing flowers on a make- shift memorial.
Jennifer Jones is there and has the story.
