Crews spent the day replacing damaged sections of guard rail along a half mile stretch of the interstate.

State Police say James Edward Brown was driving down route 691 in Bedford County when he ran off the road, down an embankment, and hit a tree.
Brown was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Judge Colin Gibb denied a motion by the defense to move the trial.
The Defense attorney said selection was proving too difficult.

They will decide whether Thomas is guilty of killing Radford teenager Tara Munsey last year.

International Cold Storage Company is set to move from Albemarle to Nelson and invest more than three million dollars in a new facility.
