Authorities have found rifles inside the apartment of the Santee, California high school student charged in yesterday's fatal shooting.
There's no official word yet on WHY 15- year- old Charles Andrew Williams allegedly opened fire, killing two classmates and injuring 13 others.
Williams faces charges of murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Santee, California is a town in mourning. Last night at a local church
about a thousand people turned out for a memorial service for Randy
Gordon and Brian Zuckor... two students killed Monday at Santana
High..in the worst act of school violence since the Columbine Massacre.
NAT BURST
It happened just after 9am when witnesses say 15 year old student Andy
Williams....armed with a .22 caliber revolver opened fire in a boys
bathroom.
Student SOT:
"He pointed the gun at me and he didn't shoot me and then he shot the
narc behind me and the narc fell on top of me."
Police soon swarmed the campus as frantic students ran for safety.
Authorities eventually found Williams but not before two students were
dead and 13 other people were injured.

"When we found him he was inside the bathroom with in like a kneeling
position with the butt of the gun and he surrendered."
Friends of the suspect say Williams was a frequent target of bullies and
had recently talked about getting even.

he said no this is just a joke and I said well everyone else is taking

That's according to a new poll by Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

More details have been released from the Gilmore administration regarding the state budget impasse.
It believes that freezing construction projects

The Governor's chief of staff says a significant portion of those capital projects will proceed as scheduled.

With the increase, Cox customers in the Roanoke Valley will be paying just over 35- dollars a month for the popular 61- channel package.

Rocky Mount is losing 140 jobs within two months.
Plans to restructure the Standard Register company call for the closing of the company's Rocky Mount facility.
The company says all Rocky Mount employees will be paid through May first.

Dozens gathered last night at the Radford New River Castings plant to remember those who were killed and injured in an explosion there one year ago.
Debbie Sheppard, Curtis Grooms and Karen Hamilton lost their lives in the blast.
Karen's father, Ed Anderson helped organize the memorial.
He says he hopes to make the ceremony a yearly event.
