Authorities say the fire on Foster's Knob started around 3 p-m yesterday - It's still burning but is almost out.
The Virginia Department of Forestry says around 15 acres burned.... and that an all-terrain-vehicle sparked the blaze.
Forestry department officials say if the driver of the A-T-V is located - he or she may face charges.
Smoke could be seen from miles away - but firefighters had a rough time getting to the blaze because it was so high up on the mountain.
Authorities expect the fire will be completely out by tomorrow.
