A Naval Academy midshipman from Danville accused of rape will not go to trial.
Shaka Martin and two other midshipmen were charged in the case.
Prosecutors say they won't bring the case to trial after the midshipmen agreed to resign from the academy and have no further contact with the alleged victim.
The female midshipman who brought the charges says she supports the decision not to bring the men to trial.
