A small plane rests on the deck of a house after an emergency landing at Wintergreen Restort.
The single engine Cessna was occupied by a husband and wife.
Officials say they failed to clear and hit a house on Crabapple Road.
No one was home at the time and the couple in the plane was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities say that thick fog may have contributed to the accident.

McCarron shot a 5-under par 67 for his share. DiMarco also had a 67. They are at 9-under-par 135. A stroke behind is defending champion Phil Mickelson. He had a 66 and was on fire in this round, getting himself out of trouble with incredible shots like this one on the 18th. He would go 7 under here. The tournament is delayed a day by rain with the final two rounds scheduled for tomorrow.
