At four o'clock this afternoon deputies at the Roanoke City Jail found Earl Hale hanging by his bed sheets.
Hale is charged with killing Charlene Ramsey outside Hot Rods Car Care on January second.
This is the second inmate that's killed himself since January.

Earl Hale was arrested on Wednesday after more than three months on the run.
Since he was brought to the Roanoke City Jail early Thursday morning three mental health professionals declared Hale was not suicidal.

When Hale was brought into the Roanoke City Jail Thursday morning Sheriff George McMillan says deputies called in mental health professionals.

A Roanoke man is behind bars tonight, charged with shooting a Cab driver.

This morning police arrested 21 year old Phillip Alex Foreman from Roanoke and charged him with robbery and aggravated malicious wounding.

Police say Foreman shot John Powers Sunday morning.
Powers dropped Foreman off on West Side Boulevard.
Officials say that's when Foreman demanded money, shot out the two way radio, and then shot Powers once in the back.

After the arrest officials found Foreman is also wanted by the F-B-I in Atlanta for a murder in January.
He is being held in the Roanoke City Jail without bond.
The cab driver remains in Duke Medical Center in fair condition.

About 20 employees will remain to tie up loose ends.
The company laid off all its employees after filing for bankruptcy earlier this year.

Economic leaders in Pittsylvania County say there is already interest from businesses who want to move into the Blairs facility.

((Michael Vick took the NFL coaches and scouts through a variety of throws, short hitch routs, deep balls and tosses off play action to name a few. The San Diego Chargers, owners of the top pick in the draft, say it looks more and more like Vick's their guy. ((:)) ((:))
But 10 other NFL teams in attendance aren't giving up just yet. Former Dallas signal caller and now Cowboys quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson joined offensive coordinator Jack Riley in grading and interviewing Vick. ((:))
Vick's contract could command as much as 50 million dollars and while he lacks the experience, his attitude fits right into the Chargers plans.))
