This one in Roanoke, another in Roanoke, and the one in Lynchburg will convert to RoomStores, but the Heilig-Meyers name is about to disappear from view.

The company was forced to file bankruptcy last August.. it was spending too much money on collecting payments from customers who owed financing payments.
In an attempt to save some money, a wave of closing began in November, including stores in Christiansburg, Radford, Martinsville, Collinsville and Rainelle West Virginia.
Now the company's remaining money will be devoted to its RoomStores, located mostly in bigger markets.
Heilig Meyers hopes selling off some of its inventory will help to pay off some debt.
