Teachers' salaries in Bedford County are going up... and so are the county's taxes. The real estate tax will only go up by 3 cents, instead of the proposed 8 cents.
The Bedford County Board of Supervisors approved the pay raise last night by a vote of 4 to 3. As Kate Weidaw reports, teachers say the raise is necessary.
