Roanoke authorities say it will be several days before they decide whether to file charges against an Alexandria teen-ager who gave birth to a baby at Roanoke's Wyndam hotel yesterday.
The girl says she didn't know she was pregnant.

The birth occurred around six a-m.
The girl was spending the night with her 20-year old boyfriend, a student at Roanoke College.
She awoke with stomach pains, went to the bathroom and delivered a baby boy.
Her boyfriend called 9-1-1. Rescue workers pulled the newborn out of the toilet, then police say "the baby began breathing."
The baby boy is in "critical" condition at Community Hospital. The mother is listed as stable.

18 rail cars loaded with coal derailed yesterday around 6 o-clock.
The train was coming from Bluefield, West Virginia and was traveling about 15 miles an hour when the cars jumped the track.
Norfolk Southern officials say they are still investigating how it happened.
The clean up is expected to be completed by the end of the day.

The family of a man and child killed on Interstate 81 are suing the trucking company they believe is responsible for the accident.
56-year-old Richard Canady and his 5-year-old grandson died when a concrete structure hanging off a passing tractor trailer sliced the top off of their car.
The accident happened in Augusta County last August.
The family is suing Today's Trucking of Fredericksburg for 20 MILLION dollars.

U-S Representative Bobby Scott resigned as chairman of Mark Warner's campaign in a dispute over its management.
Scott is a leading black politician in the Commonwealth.
He says he wanted to help manage the campaign and NOT just act as a figurehead.
A spokesperson for Warner says he hopes Scott will still play a role in the campaign.

Hunters in Loudoun County are fired up about a proposal to limit shooting there.
Supervisors will vote Monday on a measure that would ban the use of high-powered rifles in the eastern third of the county.
That area has long been rural, but is quickly turning suburban.
Supporters say the measure is a common sense solution to changing demographics.

Instead, the U-S-S Wisconsin will become a floating museum Monday -- the 57th anniversary of its commissioning for World War Two service.
The ship is docked in downtown Norfolk.
Officials there spent years lobbying to bring it to their waterfront.
Visitors will be able to tour the ship's decks -- but the fragile inside is off limits.
It's being preserved in case the ship is recalled to active duty.
