A Pulaski man faces firearms charges, after a domestic dispute yesterday led to gunshots.

Police responded to the home of Michael and Theresa Ayers on 8th Sreet around 5 o'clock.
Theresa fled the residence to call 9-1-1, saying her husband fired a gun at least three times.
Authorities made several attempts to contact the 34-year-old subject still believed to be in the house, but a short while later he showed up in his car.

A Grayson County motel that mostly serves migrant workers is back in business .. four months after the state ordered it closed down.

In December-- the state ordered the owners of the Osborne Motel in Independence to close their entire complex after failing to fix their water system. Officials say the motel has since reconnected to the town's water system and earlier this month received its state permit after health officials found NO sewer leaks. At one time, the motel was regarded as some of the worst migrant farm- worker housing in the state.

The Lebanese government is condemning Israel's airstrike today in Lebanon's central mountains.

One Syrian soldier was reportedly killed and four others were wounded in the attack on a radar facility.
It's not clear if the radar was hit.
Israel says it was in response to Hezbollah attacks.

Today's incident will likely increase the risk of further military tensions along Israel's northern border.

He was also charged with driving with a suspended license.
Puffy's spokeswoman says paperwork delay is the reason for the license showing up as suspended.

The misdemeanor charge could land him in jail, and he could be fined up to five hundred dollars.

Roanoke Police expect to level D-U-I charges against a driver of a pickup truck .. after it ran into another pickup last night.

The accident happened around nine-thirty at the corner of Orange Avenue and Williamson Road. Police say the driver of a large brown pickup ran a red light and collided with another truck. Officers say the driver of the brown truck had been drinking. The man was arrested, but has not yet been charged with D-U-I.
All of the people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital.
There is no word yet on their conditions.

BUT THE OIL PRICE INFORMATION SERVICE DISAGREES, PREDICTING PRICES AS HIGH AS THREE DOLLARS A GALLON ON THE WEST COAST.

Police in Pulaski feel fortunate a domestic dispute yesterday did not lead to injuries .. or worse. It DID lead to gunshots, but no one was hit.
Police responded to the home of Michael and Theresa Ayers.
Theresa fled the residence to call 9-1-1, saying her husband fired a gun at least three times.
Michael Ayers faces a firearms charge.

Four months after state officials ordered it closed down, a motel that houses migrant workers is allowed to re-open.
In December-- the state ordered the owners of the Osborne Motel in Independence to close their entire complex after failing to fix their water system. Officials say the Osborne Motel has repaired its water system .. received a new state permit earlier this month after health officials found NO sewer leaks.
