Good afternoon everyone, welcome to your Thursday ticker. [graphic-michael vick]
Sources now say Virginia Tech star quarterback Michael Vick might not be drafted number one in Saturday's NFL draft because the San Diego Chargers, owners of the first selection, are serious about not getting burned again by giving Vick a huge signing bonus and then the quarterback not working out, like Ryan Leaf's situation.

Sources say Vick and his agents at Octagon want a signing bonus of 12 million plus and a contract somewhere around 50 to 60 million. San Diego has told Vick's agents his contract would be in the neighborhood of a number one pick but with more safeguards in case he does not develop into a starter.
