The government says Poff took expensive trips, bought new vehicles.

A devastating scene in China- A landslide destroys an apartment building

25 famlies lived in the apartment building in Southwestern China- where the hill of rocks came tumbling down.
Only seven of the famlies were known to have escaped-
By this afternoon hundreds of soldiers and police had unearthed 34 bodies- after digging through the debris.
The official news agency there says rain probably loosened the earth- triggering the slide.
Others blame poor construction standards.

Governor Jim Gilmore has agreed to a bill that narrowly reforms Virginia's " toughest in the nation" 21 day rule.

From his trade mission in Europe, the Governor signed into law a bill that would allow biological evidence, like D-N-A... to be tested at any time after the original trial.
If those tests prove innocence, the inmate could go free.
Current state law won't allow new evidence three weeks after trial.
Critics say the bill doesn't go far enough, and that any evidence that proves innocence should be admissable.

Charges have been dropped against two Hollins University students who protested naked at the school yesterday.

Chris Chappel and Annliv Young were charged with indecent exposure after appearing in public wearing only red paint.
Chappel and Young were one of about ten Hollins students who decided to bare it all for their cause at a campus demonstration.
The women claimed the stressful environment at Hollins stopped their menstrual cycle, hence the red paint.
