Hollins University has dropped charges against two students who protested naked at the school yesterday.

Chris Chappel and Annliv Young were charged with indecent exposure after appearing in public wearing only red paint.
Chappel and Young were one of about ten Hollins students who decided to bare it all for their cause at a campus demonstration.
The women claimed the stressful environment at Hollins stopped their menstrual cycle, hence the red paint.

A major drug bust in Wythe County today--
At this hour, authorities say they already have 40 people in custody.
They plan to continue the arrests this afternoon.
Two-hundred indictments were handed down by a grand jury on a number of drug charges, including distribution of crack cocaine and oxycontin.
Suspects who don't make bond will be transferred to the New River Valley Regional Jail.

Blanton was sentenced to life in prison yesterday.

Defense attorneys say this case is different from other school shootings, since there was just one shot fired, and one victim.

An upset in Rocky Mount's town council election last night, as voters elected Mark Newbill mayor over incumbent Ben Pinckard.

Newbill, a dairy farmer and member of town council for three years, beat his opponent by more than 160 votes.
He got 58 percent of the vote.
Pinckard got 42 percent.

Rodger lost 24 pounds during his 5 weeks in the outback! But he can't
seem to gain it back in peace.

To celebrate the event, the famous landmark was bathed in white light.
There was also a party for relatives of the original builders.
Standing nearly 15- hundred feet in the air, it's been a fixture on the New York City skyline since 19-31.
For many years, it was the world's tallest building.
Nearly four million visitors tour the Empire State Building each year to get a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck.
