Narr: The 11-year old who was abducted on Tuesday was found three and a half hours from her home near Kerrville, Texas. A deputy sheriff stopped what had been reported as a suspicious looking car. When he walked up to it, Leah broke free.

Narr: Police say the man--49-year old Gary Dale Cox--was a registered sex offender convicted on five counts of indecency with a child.
He was out on supervised probation, but fled a year ago.
Authorities believe during that time Cox abducted 11-year old Lisa Bruno from Slidell Louisiana and Nine year old Nykema Augustine from San Antonio...both were released.
The FBI thinks three were held captive in a boarded up cabin in South Central Texas.

Narr: For three days the FBI, police and hundreds of volunteers scoured woods and fields hoping for any sign of Leah. It ended on the side of a road in South Central Texas.

The knife's been in a Prince William County Courthouse for seven years. Now police there say Bobbitt plans to file court documents to get it back - because it could be a collector's item.

The library was scheduled to open right around this time, but now the date is early June. The reason: new shelves have not arrived. The delay may give some people a break. All late fines from the Main Branch will be waived this month, until the re-opening.

The annual Air show in Danville takes to the skies today.

Organizers expect five thousand people to attend today's Air and Car show at the Danville Regional Airport.
It will feature 300 cars and trucks, 40 boats, 100 motorcycles, and wide array of aircraft.
They include military planes as well as an aerobatic team.

Roanoke's city council will look at a plan that will could bring pro basketball and more concerts to Roanoke.
But big entertainment means a big price.

The pro-game would NOT be the N-B-A, which has played a couple of exhibition games in Roanoke, but it WOULD be a new minor league, the N-B-D-L.
The deal would bring 26 ball games and 28 entertainment events to the civic center.
