A point driven home for more than an hour-- as fire fighters tried to bring the fire under control but could not seem to win the battle.

Officers say Heath Shoemaker robbed a store on April 30-th, then led them on a chase through both the town of Pulaski and Pulaski County.
At one point, the suspect stopped his car.
When Sergeant Gregory left his vehicle to approach Shoemaker, he stepped on the gas and tried to run him over.
That's when the officer fired a shot at the car, hitting Shoemaker in the left leg and his right shin.

A seemingly relaxed, poised 14-year old Nathaniel Brazill faced the court in his own defense, perhaps his best chance at convincing a jury that the shooting death of his Math teacher, Barry Grunow, was not murder, but an accident.

But this is the same teenage boy jurors saw just last week in school surveillance tape presented by the prosecution. You can see Brazill with a handgun, then taking aim at Mr. Grunow who dropped to the floor
and later died.
Still the defense worked to show jurors that Brazill was a well-liked boy, known as a practical joker and had no troubles, nothing that would give him motive to plot the murder of a teacher Brazill has described as
a friend.
Nathaniel Brazill was only 13 years old last May, when he shot Barry Grunow at his West Palm Beach middle school. But Brazill is being tried as an adult for 1st degree murder.
If the prosecution proves Brazill pre-meditated the shooting death of his teacher then it's life in prison for the 14 year old with no chance for parole. Jennifer Jones, CBS News.))

The Atlanta Falcons have scheduled a 10:30 news conference for this morning to announce the signing of Michael Vick to his first pro contract.

Vick , who impressed the Atlanta coaches with his quick release and speed during rookie mini-camp this past season will reportedly get a 6 year deal worth as much as $62 million bucks.
Three million will come to Vick as a signing bonus and he is guaranteed $15 million over the first three years of the contract.
With numbers like that it's hard to argue that he should have stayed in Blacksburg.
