Ericsson has implemented a major cost-cutting plan, which includes layoffs at its Lynchburg facility... no word yet on how many.
The company says it's lost nearly 500 million dollars this quarter as other cell phone makers move ahead in sales.

The company announced in April it would cut 12 thousand jobs worldwide and remove seven thousand consultants from the payroll.

Some good news for visitors of Philpott Lake in Henry County.

Park officials say it'll now be easier for boaters to get in and out of the water.

Byrd's Jeff Highfill reached a milestone in his soccer coaching Career. The Terriers beat Salem last night 2 to nothing giving Highfill 260 career wins which makes him second in the state.
