A Roanoke teenager charged in a fatal stabbing entered a no contest plea today.
17-year-old Nastassia Brown was convicted of VOLUNTARY manslaughter in the death of Monique Swain.

Brown was set to go on trial this week for stabbing the 22-year-old woman at the Bluestone Apartments last December.

Sheriff's officials say it appears Shinneman drowned, because no injuries were found on her body.

Today the Supreme Court ruled 7-to-2 that disabled golfer Casey Martin does have a legal right to ride in a golf cart between shots at PGA Tour events.
Justice John Paul Stevens said in his opinion that allowing Martin, who has a circulatory disorder that obstructs blood flow to his heart and right leg, to use a cart will not alter PGA tournaments.

Virginia's tallest bridge opens later today.
