Danville Police say when they answered a disturbance call overnight, 24 year old Tory Lamar Coleman ran away with a gun in his hand.
Police charge Coleman with trying to shoot the officer attempting to arrest him.
Coleman faces attempted capital murder charges.

A former F-B-I agent has pleaded innocent to charges of spying for Moscow.
Robert Hanssen entered the plea during his arraignment in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia, this morning.
Hanssen is accused of passing secrets to Moscow for 15 years in exchange for one-point-4 million dollars in cash and diamonds.

Six children in Idaho are involved in a standoff with authorities there.
It started after their mother was arrested Tuesday on a charge of felony injury to a child.
Deputies say the kids were sorely neglected and caring for themselves.
They also believe the kids are armed.

The latest numbers show four and a-half percent of gay men ages 23 to 29 get H-I-V each year.

The historical drama was written by a local man who conducted research and interviews to tell the community's story of sacrifice through fictional characters.
