in Wytheville sent two truck drivers to
the hospital.

The fire chief told News7
last night that something may have been
leaking inside a tractor trailer at the
T-A truck stop on Peppers Ferry Road.

Much of the parking lot was
blocked off.

One truck driver was
de-contaminated and sent to the
hospital after having trouble
breathing.

The other driver was sent
as a precaution.

People started calling animal
control about the bird yesterday
morning after it was seen flying across
the road.

Officers tried to capture it, but
they say it was way too quick for them.

They don't know who it belongs to
or how it got there.

They say the bird isn't bothering
anyone, so they plan to leave the
animal alone for now.

A hazardous materials incident
in Wytheville last night sent two truck
drivers to the hospital.

The fire chief told News7
that something may have been leaking
inside a tractor trailer at the T-A
truck stop on Peppers Ferry Road.

There's still no word on what the
substance may have been.
