And, a helicopter flew in more antibiotics today.

A barn in Bedford County goes up in flames and fire officials are still looking for the reason.

The blaze was spotted late last night near Moneta. When fire fighters got there... they found the barn on a private lane off state route 801, fully ablaze. The barn was destroyed, but firefighters stayed there well into the early-morning hours .. to let hay bales inside burn out .. and make sure flames did not spread to the forest nearby. There were no reports of any injuries.

Tiger Woods warmed up for the U-S Open in two weeks by cruising to his third straight win at the Memorial Golf Tournament.

Woods and Paul Azinger finished their third round with Azinger up by a stroke. Then Woods began to turn it up a notch. On the par 5 fifth hole, Woods hits this twp iron over the water and to within six feet of the hole setting up an eagle while Azinger bogeyed the hole.
He then knocked down the six footer for eagle and to take a 2 stroke lead on Azinger with 4 holes left on the front side.
Tiger finished the round with a 6 under par 66 and a total of 271, 17 under par and a seven shot win over Azinger and Sergio Garcia. They tied for second at 10 under.

Tom Brittain of Radford is the winner of the Southwest Virginia amateur golf tournament at Draper.
Brittain shot a third round 74 for a total of 217 good enough for a one shot win over Jon Ervin of Wytheville and Gary Arnold of Marion, who tied for second place at 218.
Rabdy Songer of Pearisburg won the Seniors title. And Roanoke's Don Foster finished third. That's it for sports, have a great week everybody...

Karrie Webb continued the International players dominance at the Women's U.S. Open.
Webb winning the title for the second year in a row.

Webb would shoot a final round 1 under par 69. The 26 year old Australian would finish at 7 under par 273, the only player to beat Par.
Webb finished five shots ahead of Se Ri Pak the largest winning margin at a Women's open in 21 years.

Jeff Gordon won his 54-th Winston Cup race finishing nearly a second ahead of Steve Park in the M-N-B-A 400.

Jeff Gordon would blistered the Monster Mile early leading by a couple of seconds with 324 laps to go Mike Skinner was second.
Rusty Wallace was having a strong run but after a scheduled pit stop he began to fall back almost getting lapped by Gordon.
Then the caution came out when Dale Earnhardt Junior gets lose coming up on turn 4 slightly damaging his car.
Gordon was the leader at the halfway mark but Tony Stewart was on the move he passed points leader Dale Jarrett to take over second place with just under 200 left to go.
Gordon held off the field he leading all but 19 laps a new record at Dover and he takes the checkered flag winning the M-N-B-A 400 for his second win of the Winston Cup season.
