George Lynch isn't the only local star at the NBA finals. Wytheville's Roland Lazenby, who lives in Roanoke and teaches at Virginia Tech, is there.
The author has momentarily put down the typewriter and taken a seat in the TV producer's chair.

Lazenby spent all of 1999 with the Lakers and Kobe Bryant penning the successful book "Mad Game." Because of that, Lazenby was hired to serve as the producer for the syndicated documentary on Kobe - titled "Child of Destiny." You can catch Lazenby's work this coming Sunday at one pm right here on WDBJ-7. (------------)
