The National D-Day Memorial in Bedford opens to the public today. More than 18- thousand people attended yesterday's dedication ceremony, but they weren't able to tour the site. Instead the crowd came together to say 'thank you' to the soldiers who gave so much to their country. Steve Smallshaw has the story.
