A Rocky Mount man was killed in an overnight car accident.
Police say 38-year-old Carlton Hodges was driving his Jeep south on School Board Road just before midnight.
He apparently ran off the shoulder and drove back onto the road.
His car overturned several times, throwing him from the vehicle.
Hodges died at the scene.
Police say he apparently was NOT wearing a seat belt.
