Prosecutors hope one man's testimony will help convict two of his friends in the murder and robbery of a 61-year-old Rocky Mount man.
18-year-old Christopher Dorman pled guilty to the first-degree murder of Ralph English.
He'll serve 37 years ... and testify against two co-defendants.

22-year-old Charlie English is charged with the capital murder of his former stepfather.
An investigator testified that English, Dorman and 14-year-old Alexander Hudson strangled the elder English in his bed with a boot lace and stole more than 6-thousand dollars.
The case was sent on to a grand jury.

Wythe County is welcoming a new business and new jobs. West Virginia based Swanson Industries says it will open a division in Rural Retreat within the next two-months. The company builds products for hydraulic, construction and mining industries. A county spokesman says initially 30-workers will be hired and that within three-years 60 additional positions are expected.

Slowing sales forced Rowe to cut one hundred thirty workers back in January -- but things are picking up.

The City of Clifton Forge is about to go away.
Not entirely, of course, but as of Sunday it will no longer be a city. That's when Clifton Forge will become the second Virginia city to revert to a town.
The community will now become part of Alleghany County, which has been scrambling for nearly four months to prepare for the change.
