Good evening, I'm Teresa Hamilton. Jean has the evening off. A Russian airline carrying nearly 150- people has gone down in Siberia. Russian officials say the plane crashed and burst into flames... near a city where it was supposed to stop for refueling.
No problems had been reported on the plane, which was headed for Russia's Pacific coast.
According to one Russian news agency...initial indications are that all of the 133 passengers and ten crew members are dead.

What looks like human blood was found in the car that turned up last night in the search for an abduction suspect and his victim.

The car was at the foot of a steep gravel driveway at Linville- on- the- Lake in Hardy.
Suspect Dewey Summerlin had apparently been living in the house.
Inside authorities found a sawed-off shotgun. They seized the gun, along with Summerlin's computer and a pair of lady's underwear.
The property owner says Summerlin answered an ad about three weeks ago to rent out the basement apartment.


Court records indicate Summerlin has been charged with stalking Jennifer Barker and accuse him of abducting her as she arrived for work at the Roanoke Post Office last Thursday.

An attorney for the former F-B-I agent says his client is ready to plead guilty on Friday. It's a deal that allows Hanssen to avoid the death penalty. The bidding war for Wachovia bank is getting hotter.
First Union issued a harshly worded statement today, calling allegations by rival suitor SunTrust Banks ``false and irresponsible.'' SunTrust alleged that First Union was using a questionable tax shelter.
In its statement to federal regulators, First Union says the accusations focused on widely-used tax transactions' which had been approved by outside counsel and external auditors. First Union called the allegations a last-ditch attempt to win the fight for Wachovia.
