Police would like to talk with Summerlin about the disappearance of Jennifer Barker. Yesterday, they scoured the area around the house with a tracking dog after searching the house Monday night and finding a sawed- off shotgun. A car they'd been looking for was also there.
The search warrant affidavit indicates "human blood was found in the vehicle which was not present at the time Robert Wingfield loaned the vehicle to Summerlin" last week.
The warrant cites Barker's abduction as the reason for the search.

A civil rights group has warned Virginia Military Institute against plans to require cadets involved in a pregnancy to leave school or face expulsion. The A-C-L-U says the policy violates privacy rights and the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection. The A-C-L-U urged V-M-I to treat pregnancy as a temporary medical disability. The state Attorney General's office has not yet responded.

Officials say all 145 people on board a Russian airliner were killed when the plane crashed in a Siberian forest.
They say 12 of the passengers were foreigners.
But the death toll could rise, because there may have been others aboard who were not ticketed.
Russian television is reporting the plane had tried twice to land, and crashed on its third attempt.
No word on what caused the accident.
Terrorism has NOT been ruled out.

It was packed into a Russian cargo jet.
Next stop, its final destination of Dobbins Air Force Base in Georgia for possible repairs.

The recent murder of 5 children in Texas by their mother --has brought attention to postpartum depression. Some statistics show that about 80 percent of women who give birth will suffer some degree of postpartum depression. For most of them its usually very mild and passes in a few weeks.
But for some women it can be so severe, they lose touch with reality. Health Check Reporter Joy Sutton spoke with a local psychologist to get some answers about this condition.

Two unions representing nearly 135,000 actors have reached a tentative contract agreement.
The performers will vote on the proposal over the next few weeks.
Details of the agreement were not released.
But union leaders say the three- year deal will raise the minimum salary scale for actors, and also increase some key residual payments.

Crowds approached the one- MILLION- mark, as people came from near and far to join the festivities.
Traffic was gridlocked as motorists pulled over and looked up to the sky.
The holiday fireworks are part of the 10- day "Taste of Chicago" celebration.

Junie was born with Muscular Dystrophy. Doctors told his family he should be placed in an institution, but his mother said no.
