It's been just over a week - since Jennifer Barker disappeared.
Last night - the search led police to Franklin County - where they found Barker, the man who reportedly kidnapped her - and his teenaged son - who is now charged in her abduction.
Dewy Lee Summerlin reportedly took his own life after police cornered him.

Jennifer Barker says Dewy Lee Summerlin repeatedly held a gun to her neck and threatened to kill her.
Over the last three years Barker says she has filed at least 7 restraining orders against Summerlin - for stalking her.
Today I sat down with Barker to talk about her experience.
However - she did NOT want to show her face on camera because she is exhausted from what she calls a terrifying experience.

On Friday - Summerlin decided he needed to get rid of the green Honda police were looking for. Barker persuaded him to let her call her friend David Prillaman to switch cars with him. That's when Prillaman called police. Around 10 o'clock Lieutenant David Cunndiff with the Franklin County Sheriff's department pulled up to the Honda in the Ippy's parking lot in Rocky Mount.

Barker returned home last night to her 17 year old daughter - who never lost hope that her mother would be found alive.
As for Summerlin's 15 year old son, he has been charged with abduction and another charge of possessing a fireman is pending. He is currently being held at the Corner Springs Juvenile facility.

13-year-old Jessika Lewis died this week and three other teens remain hospitalized after the accident on Route 220 in North Carolina.
The Virginia Heights Baptist Church van was returning from Myrtle Beach when a tire blew and the van flipped several times.
A spokesperson with the N-T-S-B says bus and student transportation is a special emphasis of the organization.

Lexington police want the public's help locating an Alzheimer's patient who disappeared from a nursing home this morning.
Authorities say it was around 9:30 when Herman Bennett was last seen in the Mayflower home on South Main Street.

It turns out the web site is a link to a site about Democratic challenger, Don McEachin.
Yesterday-- Kilgore lashed out at McEachin accusing him of deception.

It's owned by a Democrat, employed by a political consulting firm in Washington, who says he's considering whether to un-do the link.

An aide to Texas Congressman Tom DeLay says the mayor of a Virginia city assaulted him during a campaign event.
The alleged altercation occurred around three weeks ago... when 26-year-old Charles Faulkner was campaigning for fellow Republican Randy Forbes.
Forbes eventually won the special election to replace the late Congressman Norman Sisisky.
Faulkner says Chesapeake's mayor assaulted him during the campaigning..
Details of the incident have not been released... but Mayor William E- Ward confirmed with a Norfolk newspaper that he was served with a summons yesterday.
The Mayor is charged with assault and battery.
