State health officials say 25-reported cases of salmonella poisoning are indeed linked to one restaurant in Lynchburg.
But they say because the outbreak now appears to be under control, they will not release the restaurant's name,

Health officials say the restaurant's operator has restricted all infected employees from handling food .. and has dis-infected preparation areas.
The specific source of the outbreak has not been identified.

The American Civil Liberties Union says the Pulaski Police are going too far.

Pulaski Police announced this week that they're asking local pharmacists to fingerprint any customers who they have reason to believe might be trying to fraudulently obtain otherwise legal narcotics.
The invisible ink fingerprinting would be done at the pharmacist's discretion, targeting the abuse of drugs like the painkiller OxyContin.
The Virginia A-C-L-U says honest people who are legally purchasing prescriptions will have a visceral reaction to the fingerprinting.
The A-C-L-U says the police should understand that they're using private sector pharmacists to violate people's privacy rights.
