Kibble was sentenced to six months in jail this morning for having consensual sexual contact with two 16-year olds.
The two girls attended Osborn park High school in Manassas, where Kibble was working as an assistant football coach.
Kibble was a three time All-Big East kicker and punter and finished his career with the Hokies at the 2000 National Championship game against Florida State.

Divers have been concentrating their efforts near Union Bridge.
That's where they located the body of a missing Martinsville woman four weeks ago.
Today, divers brought up a drum like container but there was nothing inside.
The Henry County Sheriff says the search will now switch to other parts of the lake.
It will be at least another three weeks before divers can head back into the water.

Vishay manufacturers and supplies all sorts of electronic parts including those for computers, automotive and medical to customers like Sony, AT&T and IBM.
Vishay bought Vitramon in 1994, taking over the company's 120 thousand square foot facility in Roanoke's Center for Industry and Technology.
Up until the first quarter of 2001, Vishay's stock was doing well.
But the company says the recent economic slowdown will mean across the board cutbacks at its facilities in the U-S, Mexico, Germany, Israel, among others.))

The state medical examiner says a Bedford County jail inmate died from blunt force trauma.. now investigators want to know HOW he suffered those injuries.
38- year- old Ronald Lee Overstreet Junior died Tuesday after being transported to Lynchburg General Hospital.
Overstreet was serving a 15- day sentence for marijuana possession in the Bedford County Adult Detention Center when he was discovered unconscious in his cell.
Jail officials have said there was "no" evidence of foul play.
State Police are investigating the death.

State Police have released the identities of the family that burned to death in a car accident on Interstate-77.

Authorities say three-generations of the Williams family from Drennen, West Virginia were in the vehicle that caught fire, burning everyone inside beyond recognition.
According to State Police, 25-year-old Charles Rowland Williams Junior was at the wheel.
Passengers included his mother, 45-year-old Donna Delaine Williams and his two children ages five and three.
Yesterday afternoon police say their Southbound vehicle veered left, crossed the median and hit a Northbound car from Ohio head-on.
That driver, 60-year-old Renata Richter was med-flighted from the scene but later died.

A tractor trailer fish-tailed and went out of control near the Hollins exit of Interstate 81.
The truck then crossed into the median and crashed into a tree.
State police say the driver of the truck-- Claude Bennett Lucas of Springtown, Texas-- was thrown from the vehicle.
He was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Police believe the accident was weather related.
Police have charged Lucas with reckless driving and failure to maintain control.

Altavista's volunteer rescue squad is facing a major staffing shortage after nine members resigned their positions this week.

The group, which includes four officers, says it's unhappy with the direction the squad is going, according to Crew Captain Ken Gowen.
Gowen told News7 today there's "no chance" he and the others will reconsider.

The Lifesaving Crew suffered another setback in February when it was revealed that tens of thousands of dollars in funds were missing.

The injury happened during a weight lifting session yesterday.

Noel is scheduled to have an MRI exam done on the knee tomorrow and then have arthroscopic surgery. Noel and trainer Mike Goforth both believe the injury to be relatively minor and Goforth says he expects Noel to be on crutches for just a day or two.

Basham, Our 1997 Friday Football Extra Scholar athlete of the year, was drafted by the Reds in the seventh round. He will leave for Billings, Montana tomorrow and play for the Red's advanced rookie team until he leaves for College on August 25-th.
