Prosecutors say Hudson and his cousin Christopher Dorman and Charlie English used a shoelace to strangle the victim to death on New Years Eve.
The trio then allegedly took more than six thousand dollars from the man and used it to buy clothes.
Defense attorneys say although Hudson used the money, he was just a lookout while the other two committed the murder.
