Police say a 27 year old man went on a rampage killing members of his own family-

State police say 72-year old Maggie Callahan Marr died when her vehicle struck this Subaru station wagon from behind on Route 501 near Gladys.

Gilliam was later flown to U-V-A Hospital where she's in serious condition.
The mail carrier suffered a slight injury to his arm.
Police say it doesn't appear any of the three women were wearing their seatbelts.

Authorities believe he was in the back without a seat belt The driver, 16-year-old Stefanie Roebuck and another passenger, 15-year-old Johnny Roebuck were taken to the New River Valley Medical Center. Witnesses say the car was speeding.

Those figures come from a newly released report on bullying in city schools, based on a survey of the students themselves.

Firefighters have responded to this home on "Indian Valley Post Office Road" five-times within the last 24-hours. Officials say the first small fire was last night on the front porch. The second, more serious blaze that destroyed the house happened later Sunday night.
Since then, the fire has rekindled... bringing firefighters back. According to investigators no one was home during the incidents. An investigator with the Sheriff's Department says State Police will assist in collecting any evidence, such as accelerants, kerosene or other flammable materials.
