The streets of (Boo'-nyol) Bunol, Spain turned to crushed tomatoes earlier today. Trucks packed with tomatoes drove through the town providing plenty of ammunition to thousands of fighters. And it didn't take long for roads to become rivers of squashed tomatoes. If you are wondering - no one really knows where the tomato tossing tradition began, but there are theories: A food fight between two local families, a tomato attack on musicians or a spontaneous protest against an unpopular mayor.
