A truck driver in Florida is lucky to be alive after he crashed on a bridge today.
Witnesses say that the truck hit another car and then smashed through a guard rail.
The accident left the cab of the truck hanging off the road and over the Indian River.
Authorities say that two people were hurt in the accident. The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The Ukranian immigrant allegedly stabbed and killed his pregnant wife in their home Monday morning. From there, investigators say, he drove about 20 miles to a relative's house, slashing the throats of his aunt and uncle, then killing his nine and ten year old cousins. 75,000 thousand Ukrainian and Russian immigrants live in the Sacramento areto them for help.))'

They landed safely aboard the space shuttle Discovery this afternoon.
The landing was postponed by a couple of hours, because of clouds and rain near the landing site.
But the weather improved just in time for the second try.
Discovery left the space station on Monday.
It dropped off a three-man crew, and brought back a Russian commander and two American crewmates.
Those three spent 167 days in space.

The popularity of motorized scooters is keeping doctors busy.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says more than 22 hundred people have been treated in emergency rooms this year for injuries related to the scooters.
More than a third of those hurt are under 15.
The warning comes a week after a six-year-old California boy died from head injuries he suffered when he fell from a scooter. There have been three deaths in all from scooter accidents -- and none of those killed was wearing a helmet.

While not hazardous, it was causing unpleasant smells and induces "allergy like" symptoms.
