Police say 41- year old John Bradshaw of Ridgeway was working on lights at the sports complex when he collapsed in a cherry picker.
Buena Vista police believe he may have been electrocuted because an emergency worker who approached the light pole was also shocked but NOT seriously hurt.

Police say emergency crews urged Bradshaw to remain still-- but he continued to stir, fell some 60- feet and died.

Police in California believe they've found the remains of a man who allegedly shot and killed a sheriff's deputy.

Authorities were trying to serve a warrant at the home of James Beck yesterday when they say Beck opened fire.
Police say Beck killed the Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy and fired about 150- other gunshots at the officers.

Starting today, an overtime parking violation will cost you 15 dollars instead of ten.
Illegally parking in a handicap spot now is a fine of 125 dollars.
The moves comes after a survey found many motorists would rather risk the fine than park in downtown garages or lots.
The Police Department believes low fines may have contributed to the violations.
Downtown businesses hope the higher fines will lead to more available parking for customers.

The audit has identified eleven and a-half million dollars in improper payments.

Suggs injured his left knee yesterday's 52-to-10 win over Connecticut.

But just before Suggs was hit, his left leg gave out on him right in front of the Tech bench.

However, an MRI exam shows that Suggs has torn cartilage and a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
If the ligament injury is new - he's out for the year.
If it's an old injury from his days at Fleming, he could be back in a week.
Either way, junior Keith Burnell, who rushed for 70 yards today will have to step up and be a leader.
