Polices are searching the area with dogs looking for the armed suspect.
He is described as a white male, six feet tall in his late 30's.
Officials say he was wearing a grey hooded sweat suit.
No word on how much money was stolen.
Authorities are also on the lookout for a burgundy 4-door sedan, which they believe may have been involved.

Spotters saw ten to twelve sharks at Hatteras Inlet- and another three to five near the Hatteras lighthouse.

An animal rights group has abandoned plans to put up a billboard in Florida with a not-so-veiled
reference to a shark attack on a boy.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wanted the billboard to say: quote ``Would you give your right arm to know why sharks attack? Could it be revenge? Go vegetarian.''
A bull shark bit off Jessie Arbogast's right arm on July sixth. Surgeons reattached the arm, but the attack has left the eight-year-old in a light coma.

The announcement comes a month after Wachovia stockholders approved the 322-billion dollar deal.
The new company will be known as the Wachovia Corporation.
One change customers of both banks will notice today involves their ATM cards.

As commuters hit the road Tuesday morning, they were forced out of the
way by a tow truck that rushed through the streets of Long Beach. Police
dropped spike strips ..but the driver refused to stop.

The spikes punctured the trucks tires ..and sent it spiraling out of
control. But somehow the driver got the truck moving again ..and took
off with a line of sparks trailing behind.

Police say the suspect was a temporary city employee who got into an
argument with his supervisor. He stole the truck from a city tow yard
and drove off. Police searched for the truck for hours, but the suspect
used a police scanner to monitor traffic and stay ahead of the officers.

Hours later, the truck burst into flames and the driver pulled over. But
even with smoke pouring out of the truck, the suspect refused to come
out for a few minutes. Finally police handcuffed the man, firefighters
rushed in to extinguish the fire, and the streets re-opened for the
