A single case of rabies has Bedford authorities warning residents there to beware of stray animals.
A cat that scratched a person in the Blue Ridge Avenue area has tested positive for rabies.
That person is now undergoing treatment.
Health department officials say that's the only case they know about so far.
The city is urging residents to avoid approaching or feeding stray animals, and they advise keeping garbage in covered containers.

Police say the driver of this pickup suffered a diabetic problem, lost control of his truck and crashed into a home owned by James Jones.
Jones was inside the house but wasn't injured.
The driver.. 45- year- old Eugene L. Reed Junior of Forest.. was checked out by paramedics at the scene.
State police say Reed may face charges.

Sacramento. Some 1500 Burns security guards left these post out of fear

American Heart Association says only 20 percent of patients reach an emergency room in the hour after symptoms start -- yet only one percent of patients who arrive at a hospital within one hour die.
