We will rejoin CBS' coverage on the Attack of America in just a moment. But first we want to see how yesterday's events are continuing to have an impact on residents in our area.
At this hour, things remain at a standstill at the Roanoke Regional Airport.
At 2:30 this afternoon the F-A-A partially lifted the ban .. just enough to allow some flights that had been diverted to go to their original destinations. But no planes have left the ground here.

Fed-Ex expects shipments will be delayed at least 24 to 48 hours, and money back guarantees will be suspended until normal operations resume.
