Roanoke police have contacted the F-B-I about an abandoned vehicle discovered near Roanoke's airport early this morning.
It was found about 12:30, at the intersection of Peters Creek and Thirlane Roads.
The vehicle had no license tags, but it DID have a sticker from a Florida aviation school.
As a precaution, police had the car towed and an evidence unit has been going over it.

The fire broke out just after 3:30 at an abandoned home in the 1800 block of Chapman Avenue.
Roanoke's Fire Chief says the fire started in a rear bedroom on the second floor and quickly shot up to the attic.

The fire proved difficult to fight because the flames got into the walls.
No word yet on what started the fire, damage is estimated at 35-thousand dollars.
