Thousands of people touched by Tuesday's tragedy are turning to prayer as a means of healing the wounds and remembering the fallen.
Dozens of church services are scheduled to begin at noon in the Valley.

An elementary school student is under arrest for allegedly waving a gun in a school cafeteria.

Police responded to Lincoln Terrace Elementary School shortly before 9 o'clock this morning, where students said a fifth-grade boy showed a gun. Police say the boy fled and was apprehended at the Subway restaurant on Williamson Road. School officials credit the students for telling teachers about the incident.

A bomb threat overnight leads police on a chase down I-81. Authorities say 36-year-old Michael Paul Boudreau stole a tractor trailer carrying 80-thousand pounds of flour last night in Roanoke. Officials say he took the truck to the Pilot station on Williamson Road, but by the time they arrived, he was gone.
Boudreau told someone he left a bomb in a bookbag. He also made a threat he had a shotgun, 357 magnum and a bomb in the truck. Boudreau was later seen on Interstate 81 where he failed to stop for police. Police eventually deployed stop sticks which blew two of the suspect's tires. Boudreau was arrested for driving without a license and attempting to elude police officers. Authorities say they found no bombs and no weapons in the truck or at the gas station .. but Williamson Road WAS closed while they searched.

Boudreau is currently being held in the Roanoke County jail without bond.[Airport]
