Vincente (vin-CEN-tay) Raphael Pierre was indicted Tuesday in a seven count firearms conspiracy.
Yesterday the 44- year- old suspect was arrested at a Muslim commune near the Charlotte County community of Red House.
Pierre appeared before a U-S Magistrate in Roanoke this afternoon and pled NOT guilty.
The indictment charges Pierre's common- law wife bought a 45- caliber pistol for him from the Outpost, a licensed gun dealer in Appomattox County.
As a convicted felon, Pierre is prohibited from owning a gun.
While they're looking at possible connections, so far, law enforcement officials say they have found no direct link between Pierre and last week's terrorist attacks.
