Mostly Sofa's is officially in business.
Custom made sofa's, love seats, lamps and tables fill FOUR floors and 36 thousand square feet in the building.
It's the largest retail store in downtown.
Renovations done to the building include a new elevator, stairs and duct work.
This is Mostly Sofa's fourth store in the area... there are already stores in Lynchburg, Salem and the New River Valley.

Fire destroyed a southeast Roanoke home yesterday morning and authorities say it may have been arson.
Investigators are also considering the possibility the suspicious fire was a hate crime.

Investigators spent the day examining the burned debris, and collecting evidence for later anlaysis. Located at the corner of Bullit Avenue and 11th Street, the house caught fire around midnight and burned quickly.
Months of renovation were almost complete and the owner was preparing to move in.

Authorities are investigating an alleged gun-running operation in a Muslim community in Charlotte County. Officials say there is "no" connection with last week's terrorist attacks.

Charlotte County sheriff Thomas Jones says A-T-F agents and the Virginia State Police visited the compound yesterday and made at least one arrest.
A seven- count federal indictment was returned Tuesday and reportedly involves charges of illegal gun possession and gun trafficking.
It's the result of an investigation between July, 1998 and March, 1999.
About two dozen Muslim families live at the gated community near Red House.

A Virginia-based Air National Guard unit is getting ready for active duty.

The 192nd Fighter Wing, based in Richmond, is one of 29 Guard and Reserve units from 24 states and the District of Columbia mobilized yesterday.
The "Virginia call-up" affects 50 Air National Guard members.
