One woman was seriously injured in an accident in Bedford County tonight.

The accident happened in front of the Wal-Mart at about six tonight.. and tied up traffic on Route 4-60 for hours.
Police say a woman driving a white station wagon turned the wrong way onto 4-60 hitting a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and police have not released her name or condition.
A preliminary investigation said alcohol may have played a factor in the accident.

At the end of today's hearing, Vincente Rafael Pierre was ordered held without bond.
