A hijacking scare put an Indian Airport on alert today.

Authorities believed a plane with 54 people on board had been hijacked on the way from Bombay to New Delhi.
The plane landed safely but was greeted by India's elite National Security Guard.
Passengers say the pilot told them the episode was a security drill.

But they insist the the episode was not a planned exercise.
They say they believed it was a real hijacking.

REDICK HAD A BAD BACK AND THE KNIGHTS WERE PLAYING WITHOUT THEIR SECOND BEST PLAYER. REDICK AND THE KNIGHTS ARE BACK WITH A VENGEANCE THIS SEASON AND THANKS TO THE GUN, A STATE OF THE ART PASSING AND SHOOTING CONTRAPTION , OPPONENTS HAVE EVEN MORE REASON TO LOSE SLEEP.
The Duke bound Redick was already shooting hundreds of shots a day, now the gun empowers him to get into the thousands. ((:)) ((:))
The Gun is about 10 feet high and has a net that surrounds the basket. Balls are shot, then they funnel down through the net and into the machine and are spit back out at the shooter. ((:))
New NBDL Roanoke Dazzle coach Kent Davison, whose son Andrew is a guard for the Knights, loaned the Gun to Cave Spring. ((:))
The Gun can pass up to a thousand balls an hour and has a sensor which keeps track of how many shots are made and tells the shooter what percentage of shots go through. ((:))
OF COURSE THE BIGGEST FAN OF THE GUN IS SHAREE HICKS. HER HUSBAND BILLY, THE COACH OF THE KNIGHTS NOW HAS MUCH MORE FAMILY TIME NOW THAT HIS PLAYERS CAN WORK ON THEIR GAME WITHOUT HIM. The Roanoke Dazzle and the N-B-D-L will hold a local player tryout camp Saturday and Sunday October 13-th and 14th at Roanoke College.
The camp will be open to no more than 100 participants.
