Yesterday's Greyhound bus crash halted service nationwide, affecting passengers everywhere .. even here in Roanoke.

The Greyhounds started running again just after one yesterday afternoon.

A Carroll county man is wanted in a shooting that occurred last night.
The Sheriff says warrants are out for Buddy Daniel Cockerham for attempted murder, malicious wounding, and the use of a firearm while committing a felony.
Authorities say Cockerham shot Roger S- Goins after a dispute in the Piers Gap section of the county.
Goins is reported in stable condition at Winston-Salem Hospital.
Cockerham is believed to be traveling in a green Ford van with the passenger side window broken out, and is believed to be in the Winston-Salem area.

Just hours before Vicki Lynn Arrington allegedly drove head-on into a motorcyclist... Arrington had been with her substance abuse counselor. Nonetheless, the prosecutor says Arrington's blood-alcohol level was several times the legal limit at the time of the accident Friday evening in Bedford County.

So, 39-nine year old Vicki Lynn Arrington was held without bond on charges of felony driving under the influence and second degree murder. Her station wagon hit Carol Minton's motorcycle head-on, killing her.

A Stuart man died in an accident yesterday morning.
State Police say 74 year old George H. Mitchell pulled into the path of another vehicle at the intersection of Route 653 and U-S 58 in Patrick County.
The driver of the van was not hurt and will not be charged.

The rig jack-knifed and ended up in the median.
State Police say three people were taken to an area hospital for what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
